“Coach Toombs had taken some time off from training and managing The Claws, and had said yes to lead a Chaos Dwarf though a 145 rookie league. First game was vs a orc team named Thug Life, the players were all big rapstars, so the CD coach thought this would be a walk in the park. The Chaos Dwarfs were beaten and battered as the gangsta rappas won a secure 2-0, the chaos dwarf coach has filed a complaint to the BB federation, claiming that they were unable to play the match with all that gangsta rapping during the match.”

“Thug Life brought the hip hop beats to Duringrad in this violent game. Things got off to a crazy start as the Thugs went wide with the ball and suddenly found themselves caught in a huge wizard fireball! Fortunately for them the Chaos Dwarf wizard seemed to be distracted by the heavy sounds of hip hop, and virtually the entire cage emerged unscathed from the blast. A bit of careless play by the overenthusiastic Orcs nearly caused an embarrassing last turn turnover, but Method Man managed to get his head clear for long enough to run in the score.
The grounds men came out at half time and watered the pitch. Unfortunately this made the surface very slippery and hazardous to Orcs and Hobgoblins alike! Dodge rolls and go for its failed time after time leaving the players of both sides flat on their face. RZA from the Thugs was a particular offender, failing 3+ dodges (with TRR) no less than 3 times while trying to get a ball carrier sack. Rumours that he had been smoking some of Method Man’s medicinal herbs at half time are yet to be confirmed.
However, such clumsiness would ultimately end in tragedy for Hobgoblin Disgusto! Sprinting down the wide zone with the ball, he tried to Go For It, failed, and somersaulted onto his head with such force that he broke his neck and died on the spot!
Thugs retrieved the ball and Method Man threw a perfect pass to RZA who was still deep in the Duringrad half. RZA caught the ball and ran in for a TD – but true to form he tripped on the Go For It needed to score and ended up face down in the endzone. (But at least he was still alive...)
