“For a second night in a row, Nuffle favored a match between Coach Lukastrika and Coach Kondor.

This time, it was Kondor's rookie Nurgle squad that faced a newly minted team of rats.

The first half brought great pain to the rats as the ball was kicked directly out of bounds allowing it to be placed in the hands of one of the the Nurgle Warrior Random Oracle. With extreme patience, the squad encased the ball carrier and moved down the Northern side of the pitch. Time after time, the rats blazed in only to be rebuffed and several were sent to the bench to recover. Unfortunately, only Pac and Kodah were able to injure a mouse and all save those two returned to the field for the second half.

This time it looked as if the rats would score. They infiltrated a mouse into the backfield and the goats were unable to chase him down in time. The gutter runner took the ball, and handed it to a simple rat who ran forward only to trip over his own feet before he could get a pass off to the gutter runner in the endzone. From there, for the goats, it was a matter of keeping the remaining rats on the ground or seeing them off the pitch whenever possible.

Towards the end of the game, PainState was able to put up the second insurance score of the match.
