“Kondor thanked the good Doktor for a fun match. Granted, I think he felt like he had just had a visit to Nuffle's proctologist. It is strange how the best laid plans always seem to go awry when you roll snake eyes. They go a lot worse when you do that a few times.

That is exactly what happened here. Toward the end of the first half, the Dok had used up his rerolls on offense to get the parade marching to the endzone. Right around turn 6, the first roll of the turn was double skulls. That put the dwarfs in a position to move in for the equalizer right before the half.

The second half saw the Boys move up the opposite side of the field. Here Coach K miscounted and did not see a potential blitz. The hobogobo went for a two die block but rolled snakes on his GFI. From there on, it was just a matter of getting Thunderer to the goaline for the go ahead score.

For the Doktor, the highlight of the match must have been the death of poor Scody. It went something like this. SPLAT! Doktor:"Where is your apo?" Kondor: "I keep forgetting to buy one. Guess that should be a lesson to me." Mutual laughter ensued at Scody's expense. (Buy the way, I just got the team an apoth.)

I felt outplayed in this match. I made two mistakes. The first drive of the half was simply too easy despite Nuffle blessing me with a blitz. The last error should have cost me the match. Those snake eyes came at the right moment. I would consider getting one more reroll for the team if I were you.”
