“WIL - last game of the season

It's been a poor, woeful first season for the underworld rookies, but lets hope to get some sort of consolation in our last one.

We start well, kicking in the rain to their agi5 lineelf and getting a KO on a journeyelf when he makes a poor 2d block. We follow this up with a BH nobbla saw vs a guard lineelf on T3, and then when they rush the ball into our half on T3 we manage to knock it free with a double-GFI blitz from a SV. They then go for a nice crowdpush on a gobbo.. but again loner lets them down and they give up an early turnover! We steal the ball and weather their attacks on it, though we do see Skitter sent to the KO box and Nobbla sent off on T5 attempting a foul (double 1s!). The elves meanwhile are leaving the pitch in droves and by T6 we have put 3 in the BH box and have the ball by their endzone - and the few elves left can't stop us taking the lead just before the half time whistle.

We receive for the 2nd half 11 vs 7 and quickly KO one and BH another at the cost of a sent off gobbo: 10 vs 5 now... but the elves go for broke! Their tackle blitzer dodges through 2 TZs with ease and gets a 1d blitz on our ball carrier... but even with a RR can only push back! Phew!

Their blodge/tackle/SS blitzer is proving a royal pain in the neck as he constantly gets next to our ball carrier, almost getting a 1d block on T4 again when we double skull -> double both-down turnover, but fortunately they roll a couple of ones first! We finally get into their half (facing just 4 elves now) but still cannot get rid of that pesky blitzer!

Finally (FINALLY) on T6 when he tries a -2d block on the ball carrier we can pick a skull to knock him down and send in a squad of rats + gobbos to foul him into the KO box, and we can walk the TD over to win it 2-0.
