“Thug Life took on another pointy eared team in the form of Altdorf Irish. The Orcs well remembered their close game with the Shadoweaters earlier in the season, and had been well briefed on what to expect this time around. Unfortunately, new recruit Busta the Troll struggled to understand the instructions and spent most of the game standing around feeling confused and trying to remember what “Hit the Elves in the face a lot” actually meant.
The Thugs received the ball and set off into the wide zone in a pocket, only to be promptly zapped by a fireball. This has been a surprisingly regular occurance for the Orcs this season, but this time it actually took out the ball carrier! The ball bounced free and the clumsy Thugs could only watch in awe as the Altdorf Irish put on a textbook display of ‘Elf Ball’, skipping around the cumbersome Orcs, retrieving the ball, and ultimately breaking away for a touchdown late in the first half. The purists applauded, the Thugs fumed, and Busta was just confused.
Second half the Elves received the kick and pushed an attack out wide. However, some shoddy ball handling from the usually skilful Elves caused a scramble in the Altdorf half. Both sides struggled for control of the ball, and after a spell of attack and counter attack, the Thugs somehow emerged with it! The Orcs proceeded to push downfield, managing to hold off Elf pressure and thrice-accursed side stepping blitzers. Aided by some unusually clumsy dodges, the Thugs were able to run in a late second half TD to tie the game at 1 – 1. Busta remained confused.
A truly fun game marked by the classic Blood Bowl combination of luck, skill, and a confused Troll named Busta.
[P.S. Sorry again about the last turn foul SeventyOne – I failed my own really stupid roll on that one.]

[P.P.S. Busta is still confused.]
