“A game that went from bad to worse to near total fail very quickly...only saved by the narrowest of margins and a bit of gutter runner magic - with a healthy dose of luck.

We nearly got cleared off the pitch in the first half as we failed again and again...however, Kim Pearce was able to punt the ball - and the vampires ended up 1 space short of the TD on turn 8.

We got good KO rolls...but then the vampires blitzed - CASing another linerat. At this point it looked bleak...but finally we got some POWs and everything turned around in a matter of 2 turns as we cleared away several vampires - wrestled down another that had failed BL - and suddenly it was us clearing the pitch of the vampires...we gladly stalled it out - fouling the thralls to avoid any damage at the end (we had burned our apoth saving our Rat Ogre after a nasty foul in the first half).
