“It was a great match for us this one and finally the Warriors confidence is improving (for the moment).
To start with the Chaos Dwarfs got some pows with their s4 and guard blockers but legend Bull King Macbeth couldn't get a handle on the ball. With the hobbos not having been moved to cover we were able to get Swan and Fox next to the ball though Rembrandt snaked his dodge attempt. Macbeth then tried to grab the ball in tackle zones rather than block a player away first and so then we had a good chance to score. Swan picked up and advanced but did need to survive a blitz from the Bull. After that he had to dodge and dash to the line for an important score.
Pathos received again but were a couple of players down due to kos. A hobgobbo caught the kick and handoffed to Macbeth in the centre. We then closed around them. They moved a little across but in turn 6 their lack of rrs was exposed as Richard III, a Cwarf, failed a block and suffered a broken neck from Vermin! After that we had a chance to blitz the BCentaur and did take him down though a hobgobbo grabbed the bouncing ball. We took him down and then half time was upon us. Being a player up for our drive was an important advantage against the little tacklers. We had to switch sides in our attack and had a brief worry when crowded before the blitzer dodged away and was able to stall a turn to keep victory.
At the end of the match we were able to swarm forward on either side with the 2 hobgobbos left back having no real chance to stop Edge getting our third.”
