“Fight Gone Bad won the coin toss but Pustulant Plaguebringers hit them with a Blitz! This put the Norsemen on the defensive quickly and they were trying to recover the rest of the first half. A battle for the ball ensued and a Nurgle Warrior was thrown on top of it. The ball bounced very favorably for the Nurgle team and their agile Rotter picked it up. He would throw a short pass to a Pestigor slanting to the right side of the field. The ball was caught and touchdown PP midway through the first.

FGB received with some time left on the clock. They tried to go up the left side of the field but PP cut them off. Grant made two nice dodges and blasted a Rotter out of his way to stand wide open in the end zone. Anton tried to go away from the sidelines to find Grant but he was wrapped up in the tentacles of the Beast ending all chances of FGB from scoring. Grant would be thrown into the crowd but only suffered a brief loss of consciousness as his head hit a bench.

PP received in the second half and they had a one player advantage before they opened up their blocks. A Lineman was fouled by a Rotter and Grant came in to save him. The Berserker was knocked down into a crowd of Nurgle players where their dirty player took a cheap shot at the Norse Superstar. Grant managed to deflect the foul attempt and jumped up to sack the ballcarrier. He would steal the ball and try to go all the way. Uncharacteristically, Grant, fell and stunned himself giving the Nurgle players time to recover the ball.

That would be FGB's best chance of tying the game and sadly it didn't happen. They would take just their fifth loss in forty games.
