“I think 78% luck for me is an understatement. When a skeleton can seriously injure a beast of nurgle (on a 1vs1 block !) you know the dice are on fire. Basically in the first 5 turns my injury rolls were so nasty it concluded the game right there. Still my opponent never gave up and kept putting together plays which I had a lot of trouble with.”
“ A blow out game. My opponent's armor/injury rolls were on fire the first 5 turns wiping rotters and beast off the pitch faster than if they were halflings. briefly, managed to blitz the ball carrier and get the ball in control and away from the undead mob, but that was short lived. He recovered, kicked my ass, and scored.
Second half, had too few players left to make much of a difference. Again, one nice turn, where 1d blocks gave superficial POWs and managed to pick up ball in TZ , dodge, and handoff, but two mummies were waiting around the corner; you know what happens next.
in the end, just enough players to try and give Ed a comp.....which pitifully fails twice.
Good news, death on an unskilled beastman (instead of one of my best ones), no other permanent injuries and...somehow, our FF went up!
made enough money to buy a fourth rotter, and Pestilence gains block to compliment his claw. this team still has latent potential, but no apoth is killing me...literally. Something the BBRC should change (unless they plan on giving the whole team regen)”
