“Gravecity Nuffleboppers won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their Wight was handed the ball and he would run up the left side of the field. Dwarven Honor gave chase and tried to stuff the play. The Undead forces were too fast that even DH's fastest runner, Gilius, fell over trying to keep up. Mortisorris would score midway through the first half.

DH received with plenty of time to put together a drive of their own but they were hit by a Perfect Defense. The Mummies were proving to be difficult adversaries for the Longbeards and they weren't able to make any progress at the line of scrimmage. Meanwhile, the speedy Ghoul, Lydia, was all over the Dwarven ballcarrier, Gilius. Gilius would get beaten by Lydia and the Ghoul would steal the ball. Things looked grim for the Dwarves and they were soon to be looking at a 0-2 hole going into the second half. However, Gaven Darkbeard saved the day and seriously injured Lydia with a shoulder smash. Coach Jumboparagon was heard saying, "I hate Gaven."

Gaven would justify that hate when he would launch an accurate long pass to Thorn. The Blitzer caught it while being guarded by a Wight. He nibmled dodged away twice and ran an extra step into the end zone to shock the Undead crowd. DH would tie the game going into intermission. What a change in fortunes in a matter of seconds!

DH received in the second half and they had a numbers advantage thanks to multiple Undead KO's. GN specifically hired a Bloodweiser Babe for this match but apparently they didn't hire a very good one. The Dwarves took advantage of their superior numbers and poured on the ground and pound. By the fifth turn of the half, the Undead forces all lay battered and beaten. Gilius handed the ball off to Tyrion for the game winning touchdown.
