“A second encounter between these teams and like the first one, this starts with a blitz! for the rats. With the great kickoff result we manage to get a good pressure on the ball. Despite our noble effort, the dwarves manage to gain control of the ball, get a few KO's and seriously injure (MNG) a key gutter runner on their first two turns and i find myself missing three players already. The dwarves slowly and steadily inch their mega bunker cage towards our endzone while the rats make some fine dodging yet fail in their desperate attempts to blitz the ball carrier. With nothing but a few rat fouls so unsuccesful that even the ref paid no attention to them, the dwarves succesfully, yet not causing much damage, stall the entire half and we fail a oneturning attempt on double skulls.

So on to the second half, we see a rat-shaped hole in the dwarves defensive setup but their defense later appeared to be "perfect" and they get to rearrange every player and so pluck any holes there might've been :). The rats are forced to make a run for it, sending a gutter deep into the dwarves half and as semi-expected, the dwarves not only knock him down, but seriously injure him (MNG). My hopes of scoring boil down to a crippled linerat who fails on the second of many rolls required to score :). A third MNG gutter on turn three
and im thinking it's game. The dwarves cage up and in a slow dwarvish manner spend the half bashing rats into pieces and finally score on turn 8.

A very well played game by SirAble, and ye have defeated the damn rats that are your bane, as you called em :> I hope we shall meet again on the field and the Devil shall be better prepared. Until next time!
