“We started quickly, blitzing the Helmand Hammers offense, but when their opening blitz niggled my favourite ghoul, I started to have regrets about taking this game. However, that was soon put to bed as the star hobgoblin suffered an injury on a go for it - the apothecary called into action in the 1st turn of the game. Then Buddhist Palm took a few blockers out the game and a no assist foul removed the dangerous legend Calib before he could do any damage. From there on in, victory was inevitable and comfortable.

At 3-1 with a near full Necromantic team lining up against depleted opponents, it looked likely the score would end up 4-1, but Nuffle decided he'd been kind enough for the day and screwed us over the remaining few turns, allowing DonnyRainboe's team to score a 2nd.

A foul killed a bull, so we raised it as a zombie. We take anybody in! Sadly there was no room for it on the roster, so it got tossed in a nearby ditch.”
