“De Manglers won the coin toss and chose to receive. They were named accurately as they attacked the Dreadknights and mangled the defense. The Dark Elves armor crumpled under the assault and many were sent off the field. Malikith was made ineffective but DK's Blitzers managed to knock the ball loose several times. The effort took a heavy toll on the Dark Elves as only three players were left on the field by the end of the half. Thankfully, they were able to do just enough to be saved by the bell.
DK received in the second half and they were fortunate that four out of five of their unconcious players woke up. Nevertheless, they were still outnumbered by three players. Their opening blocks left much to be desired and that made it very easy for DM to close in on them. DK tried to spread out with Malikith in the right wing but he was under double coverage the entire time. Linken was feeling heavy pressure as a big Ulfwerener headed towards him. The Lineman scrambled to the right and made a huge play sending the ball flying to Lazarus. Lazarus caught the ball and ran up the right side of the field. He foiled a Berserker's attempts at taking him down four times. DK thought the Blitzer was going to go all the way but tired legs finally caught up to him and he stumbled into the end zone fumbling the ball and stunning himself. Judas had one last chance to be the hero but he failed an easy dodge before he could even attempt the play. Although DK had a chance to win this one, they were on the precipice of defeat at one point.
