“Started exciting, with one player on each team sent off badly hurt pretty quickly. First half then ended in a brawl on the lower midfield, which the Salamanders won with two Ladies sent off into the stands and two more casualties. Wayne ran in his first TD for the day with only seconds left on the clock for the first half.

In the second it wasn't really a game any more. The Ladies fought valiantly, and their coach took it nicely, but they stood no real chance, since they were five or six against ten throughout the half. On top of it all, one salamander Blitz and two failed pick-ups (with re-roll) by the Ladies resulted in two more salamander goals. The Ladies almost got a concession goal in the end of the half, when they passed the ball over the head of the sauruses and ran like crazy, but the second time we were prepared, and batted it away, and Werner could pick up the loose ball and run it to Wayne, who scored hos third TD for the match. Of course the salamander MVP had to be Wayne.
