The pact starts on offense and get a sort of a lazy start as their troll goes stupid and mino rages the blitz action away. I also seriously injure a marauder on my first turn. On my turn 2 I knock one more out but roll a double skull on a 1d trying to blitz the BC. The chaos draw first blood on turn 3 badly hurting a linewoman and knocking a blitzer out. I make a silly mistake using wrestle when I could've get a turnover for the pact. Well, at least they used their last reroll in the process. Well I get the ball carrier blitzed and even manage to pick up and secure the ball. The ball carrying dark elf also gets knocked out! I roll double 1s trying to free my ball carrier, which costs me a lot as their minotaur kills her the next turn (but apo saves ;)). No score during first half as I fail the 4+ pass on turn 8.
I get lucky when they only get one of their KOs back for 2nd half, but my foul on the troll fails miserably with double 1s on armor. I roll another double ones on a GFI with my thrower next turn. Luckily their mino wastes a blitz raging too and I'm able to recover the ball. I manage to stall a bit but have to score on my turn 6. So there's three more turns for the pact to score. But ho! There's a riot and the ref winds the clock back one turn so they'll have four turns now. Plus, they got 3/4 KOs back. I'll have to work to win this one. Ah, but they knock themself out with a block so I get a blitz on the BC... which comes out as push only. Luckily he knocks himself out on their turn and I succeed in scoring on my last one. Phew. They can't manage a goblin TTM on the last turn, which is always a bummer :<
This game was really a game of failure. Almost every ballhandling move failed, many GFIs failed, many passes failed. Even the pact's armor failed as it seemed exceptionally easy to knock em out today ;). Still, with all these failures it made an exciting game. Whatever the outcome, it was well played by manfred-ita. Cheers!”
