“After a lengthy legal battle for ownership of the team involving half of the Saroux Citadel lawyers, the Golden Girls ownership case of Stonefist v Winterforth is settled in the Citadel Supreme Court, and the Golden Girls game against Goblin outfit Puerto Palito begins admist a whirlwind of media pressure.

The girls punch aggressively down the left flank and injure two goblins in the ruck, but the goblins do a great job of setting into the cage.

A goblin fouls, gets sent off, but smashes Doro's hip and the apo has to come off his fag break early to patch her up.

Rose, angry with the foul, injures two goblins before running in a fiercely contested touchdown to cap off an extremely successful half for her (she later grabs a +1 strength skill up as her reward!) Sophia “Ball Cuppa” gets her own casulty.

After the score, torrential rain began to pour down. The girls kick it extremely deep and break towards the carrier. But the goblins set up an extremely resourceful play, avoid any and all tackles, and a brave/insane goblin is willfully launched by a troll towards the endzone. However, he cannot stay on his feet.

Devereux tracks back, picks up the slippery ball in the pouring rain but cannot hope to make a difficult pass. The goblins cannot convert the play into a score.

Second halfand the fans begin hurling rocks. Coach Stonefist gets so angry when one nearly hits him that he smashes the hell out of a potential culprit with a mordenkrad.

The ball is kicked deep again and the goblins look outnumbered. The girls have really kicked them around in the first half. In the pouring rain, the girls pounce, cage up, but no one can pick the slippery ball up in the ruck. Mavis gets herself a confirmed kill.
But the goblins do finally manage to get the ball! Eventually the girls wrestle it free again and New Stink gets hold of it. The Eyeliner, still angry with the earlier foul, puts the boot into a goblin and gives him a serious concussion. This is apo'd and Stonefist is so pleased with the goblin team's efforts he sends his own apothecary to have a look at the little greenskin. Finally, the touchdown is run in and the klaxon sounds for a hard fought 2-0 victory.
