The turning point was the pitch invasion on turn 1 of the second half. Three of mine stunned, including a catcher, a blitzer, and my thrower. The ball scattered in a very good place for lizvis, against the sideline. I managed to pick it up [edit] but did not position my players well [/edit], and lizvis didn't roll badly. He surfed the catcher and the ball bounced free. I wasn't in a very good position to get it back, and of course when you have no rerolls sometimes things just don't go well. I man marked up to take control of the pitch and lizvis rolled 2 cas and a ko. The finishing touch was snakes on a handoff which would have led to a score... Although at that point I hadn't stalled enough to guarantee overtime. Outstrengthed and baited in chat by lizvis, I decided to spite foul in an attempt to make his next match harder.
Overall, lizvis was an unpleasant person to play. He didn't agree with the way I was playing and was really disrespectful and whiny in chat. He said that my strategy was dumb and strongly implied that I myself was dumb, and that I was relying only on luck. He also said that I was playing very poorly. He consistently complained about bad luck and conveniently ignored my own misfortunes. I wouldn't recommend playing him to anyone. ”
