“Wheel of Chaos - Round 2:

The nurgle showed us their strength early. We received, but could do nothing against their tough (and disgusting!) hides. In return we got bashed hard. By the end of turn 3 we were left with only 5 players. Apoth saved Sam Axe on turn 2...but nothing could save Michael or Seymour when both were killed on turn 3. We attempted to stall - and wow that was a mistake, Fiona was POWed and knocked out. Left with only 3 players, it looked like game over - especially when our 3 players were just unskilled linerats - but Max came through with the dodge and pickup for the score to salvage the drive. The half was not over though - and we took the chance to fireball the nurgle ballcarrier - chainpush the beast out of the way and picked up the ball and raced downfield...sadly a blitz and 2 gfi by the beast managed to snag our ballcarrier in tents and we could not break free for the score.

1-0 at the half, looking bleak, but then a snaked pickup by the nurgle to start the second half was all we needed, we throw everything we had at the ball and managed to just wrestle it away for the 2-0 lead...after that we just tried to survive and ran out the clock for the win.
