“Eleanor “Zoro Doro” makes her début.

The girls receive and the rain begins to pour torrentially.

The humans line-up with a non-standard defence but they quickly set into the Golden Girls line. They allow a Golden girl cage to form up but start hitting the meat of the Girl's line-up hard. The girls seem rusty; they don't make a blitz in the first turn.

The girls roll their cage towards the right but then move across centre to the left as LoonyTunes get stuck in.

Mavis gets KO'd. Sophia KOs as the cage trundles down the left flank. Devereux gets herself knocked out in an off-ball ruck centre stage. Maria runs in a TD after a fierce fight.

All Golden Girls return from KO. The Lipstick and other two sacrificial offerings are bashed away from the line of scrimmage and Loony Tunes catch the kick through the sheets of rainwater pouring down over the pitch.

The humans get involved with a serious ruck and keep the ball close within it. They begin to push Mavis towards the crowd. The girls throw everyone into disrupting a well protected cage. They knock the ball free from the carrier but it scuttles around between Loony Tunes players and eventually Yosemite Sam collects the ball.

The humans move the ball along the centre line, attempting to get it away from Golden Girl pressure.

Sophia Ball Cupper catches the ball after a last ditch pass attempt from the human team fails and the half time klaxon sounds.

The rain stops as the second half begins. The ball is kicked dead centre. Again, the humans punch at the sacrificial line of scrimmage girls. The Reason gets a career-ending -1 MA smashed ankle.

The girls manage to punch through the offensive line and put pressure on the standard ball carriers before they can get set up (one fumbled the pick up), but they cannot apply enough pressure on the ball itself.

The humans track back and get settled on the ball, and manage to pick it up, but before any semblance of a cage can get set up the girls have their hands near the carrier.

The humans move it a little way again, and make a pass, but the girls still manage to get a tackle in on the new carrier and the ball spills free in the middle of a large centre field ruck. Loony Tunes continue to bash very, very hard and they seriously injure Rose “Ol' Betty” who initially had a damaged back – a niggling injury – but it is replaced for a miss next game injury. But while the humans bash extremely hard, they don't appear to be able to move the ball out.

But then they do, and with startling speed they manage to dart through a punched hole as Golden Girls are strewn about the pitch everywhere. Zoro Doro and New Stink make an attempt to defend the sudden burst of pace but Loony Toons secure the equalising touch down.

The girls attempt a two turn touchdown by bursting into the human half. Devereux blitzes and then gathers the ball. Rue manages to keep open on the right flank and Devereux runs from the half-cage and makes a superb pass which Rue runs in for the touchdown.”
