“DeathClutch won the coin toss and chose to receive. They attacked Crafty Stars at the start with Etrigan leading the advance. A Mummy was badly hurt by the Chaos Warrior but it regenerated while it laid on the bench. Draco was back to run the ball and he took cover behind his front lines. DC applied some ground and pound on the Undead forces as they slowly opened up the field for their ballcarrier to run through. Two attempts to knock the ball loose failed as Draco managed to stay on his hooves. One last chance at the end of the half to stop him also failed as the Ghoul was knocked out by a stiff arm. The Beastman would run it in to finish the first half.

CS received in the second half and their veteran Ghoul, Bisu the Revolutionist, was responsible for carrying the ball. They would take their time in the backfield waiting for an opportunity but DC made it tough for the Undead team to get behind the defense. Some pressure was applied in the backfield but the offense played well enough to buy their ballcarrier time. Unfortunately with one Mummy assigned to relieve pressure in the backfield it left the Undead front lines rather thin. Etrigan would take advantage and KO the lone Mummy anchoring the line of scrimmage for the offense.

Time was slipping away into the sixth turn when CS made their move. Biso reversed the ball to the right side of the field. He ran up the right side with his blockers covering for him. Kullz was back to play Safety and he made a big defensive play. The Beastman dodged away and knocked down the ballcarrier causing a fumble. Spite was there to recover the ball and hand it back to Kullz for safekeeping. CS had one shot to take him down and a Ghoul dodged around the world to lend an assist. The Wight assigned to make the hit failed to ddoge away from Etrigan ending all chances of tying the game. DC would escape with a hard fought victory.
