At this point, Winter Whispers are properly worried; the Valeria Lions had the ball, and an 11v8 man advantage.

But the remaining Elves mashed the amazons into the corner against their own endzone; the Lions were forced to score on turn 4 in order to avoid potential ball carrier blitzes.
Recieving the kick, Glittering Ice raced forward, luring the Lions into thinking he was the reciever; instead, Black Ice caught the throw from Snow Flake, and all the remaining Whispers formed a loose screen around him. While the Lions could put a number of tackle zones on the Blitzer, Glittering Ice freed him, and he made a single dodge to score, tying the game in turn 6.
Valeria Lions then attempted a similar maneuver, but with only a single speedy blitzer, the Whispers blitzed her down and fouled her for a KO removing the Lions only scoring possibility.

Second half starts, still an 11v8 match up. Winter Whispers put everything into a north sideline run; and the Lions follow neatly! So neatly that not one, not two, but three amazons are pushed into the crowd, and a 4th is badly hurt by Chill Wind. The Whispers form a loose screen and do some skill passing while the amazons attempt to regroup. Another amazon is injured, and another is KO'd, leaving an 8v6 man advantage for the elves! All is set, and then, in the Lions turn 6, they pull off a 5+ dodge/1 die pow attempt on the ball carrier! The Whispers have no re-rolls, and fail to pick up the ball in turn 7. 3 amazons place tackle zones on the ball; but proper chainpushing frees the ball, and Snow Flake is able to pick it up and pass it to Ghostly Pine, who passes the 2+ catch, to score the winning touchdown in turn 8.
