“Might be a tough game against chaos as I don't have much muscle on my skaven team atm. Gotta rely on their ballhandling mistakes and from experience, I can say chaos often make them, hehe.
They win cointoss and decide to receive first. We aim the kick deep and actually get it deep. I get their AV6 beast badly hurt and one knocked out on my turn 1. They send two beastmen deep in my half and I decide to ignore them somewhat to see if they would try a pass or something, which might fail and give me a chance for the ball :). They don't pass however, but I get to knock
their ballcarrier down on a 1d blitz and pick the ball up with a gutter. We run off and get out of the chaos' reach. We get some nice injuries and stall till turn 8 making it 1-0 for rats.
They get one KO back and it's 10 rats vs 7 chaos on field for 2nd half. They get blitz! on kickoff and get to tie some of my players down. My players obiously get a bit overconfident from outnumbering the enemy, and they fail some easy moves, rolling double ones and skulls, which doesn't hurt my game much though. We score on our turn 4 and make it 2-0 for rats, we want that third one too ;). They get touchback on kickoff and get the ballcarried guarded. We again try to force a pass, this time it succeeds and my AG5 gutter
in a good position intercepts the ball! We proceed and score on our turn 6, that's 3-0. That remains the final score, as we both get bad rolls on our last turns and neither of us can score again.
A game which went a lot better than expected for the rats. We got a lot of injuries down on the chaos players, while they couldn't break much armor. They also failed a few key rolls, which allowed us to get the TDs in. Thanks, gg.
