We win cointoss and choose to kick first. We try a shallow kick, but they get touchback. The tree gets rooted on his first action \o/. I get a wardancer crowdpushed on my T2 and he gets badly hurt. I get their ballcarrier blitzed on my turn 3 and the ball bounces into the hands of a norse lineman. They get the ball stripped with a wardancer and get damn close to scoring, but fail a GFI trying to blitz free and that gives me easy access to the ball. I score on turn 8 making 1-0 for norse.

2nd half starts with 11 norse vs 7 woodies on the field, norse receiving. We make way quickly trying to bash what we can on the way to the endzone. We luckily get the treeman KOd with a 1d block. We score on our turn 4, trying to go for one more! They can only field 6 players for the drive and it's easy to get the ball and move down the field with the same blitzer who already scored
twice in the game :). Game ends 3-0 for norse.

Well, I definitely got the injuries I hoped for before the game. The wardancers and a few others out, there wasn't that much the woodies could do against a full 11 of norse. Thanks for a fine match.”
