“My team has a fine history vs chaos dwarves, but these guys look quite strong. I'd be more comfortable if I still had my superstar blitzer with me.

We win the coin and let them receive first. They start strong by killing a norse lino and knocking out another on their T1. They cage up but get stuck on a wall of norse in midfield. They get a turnover for failing a block and we get their ball-carryin bullcentaur knocked down on our turn 4. The ball bounces next to some dwarves and they are able to pick it up with a hobgoblin next turn. I get the gob blitzed on my turn 5 and with some fine dodging, I get
the ball up with my runner. I make a run for it on turn 6 and get into a reasonably good position: I'm thinking it's either my score or no score this half. I manage to get through with it and score on turn 8.

We get only one KO back for 2nd half while they get all three of theirs and it's 8 norse vs 10 cdorf players on field. We're forced to make a weird pass move on our turn 2, which fails on a fumble. They get some more injuries and KOs and manage to pick the ball up with their bull centaur. They score on their turn 4 and it's 1-1. All of my three players stay knocked out and I'm left with just 5 norse. It's starting to get a bit hard to even manage a tie in this one. At least the ref moves the clock one turn ahead after a riot and there's only 3 turns I have to survive. I get the ball on my runner and try to get as far as I can. They quickly get me guardbox'd and I can't proceed. They knock the runner down on their turn 8 and manage to handoff the ball from a dwarf to the bullcentaur and score. Game ends 2-1.

After the first half I was kinda fired up. Didn't think I could lose anymore with that defensive TD and all. They just kept kicking my players off the field at a steady rate and none of em wanted to come back, leaving me with too few players to keep em off :). Well played!
