Out-strenghted and out-Blocked, this was always going to be tough. And once we got out-numbered too, we had little chance.
In the face of such odds, I'm actually quite pleased with how we did. We stopped the CDs scoring on their drive (and should have scored ourselves, if it wasn't for a 5+ dodge by a hobo to get a 1d POW on the ball carrier....). 0-0 at the half.
However, the HT KO rolls (1113) pretty much removed any chance we had in the 2nd half, leaving us 7 v 11 even if we were receiving (with no catcher too). We tried, but our one shot to score failed by 1 (long pass), after his hobos over committed. After that we almost got lucky with a couple of dodge doge blitz attempts, but ultimately "puter said no", and the 11 CDs ran in vs, I think, 4 humans at the end.
Things learned: [1] score when you can, especially if you are down on numbers; [2] don't get down on numbers :)
