It should have been the hosts who felt deflated, but unbeknownst to them Tony Bullock, star Thrower for Living-orcs-ton, actually felt worse about the situation. This was HIS team. HE was the star. These mercenaries were stealing HIS spotlight.
With these seeds of negativity sown early in the match, all it took was a quick word in his ear from Nikica Jelavic just before half-time to convince Tony to lay down his transfer request (and his life) and let Nurgle take him. Now he was literally a reborn player. If only he had read the small print he would know he is now even less likely to be a star...

Other notable moments in the match were:
Salim Kerkar's recent form has not gone unnoticed by the Strangers fans -- a well aimed rock on opening kick-off saw to it that he will never play for Glassjaw again.
It also proved to be the only time a Glassjaw player was forced to leave the field. This perhaps tells the match story in itself.
Doc had such a tight hold on Kenny Deuchar that when he finally pulled himself free from the tentacles, Kenny launched himself skywards, landing on his head.
Carlos Bocanegra managed to break the ankle of Varag Ghoul-Chewer. He had hoped for just a little more -- he is still waiting for his first Star-killer medal ]:o)>
oh, and there were a couple of TDs too :p”
