“Totally accurate on Maysrill's part. Opening kick went into the endzone, which meant we weren't going to be able to cage/screen up. Managed the score T2, then took the 12 turn beating Maysrill mentioned. I almost ran away to be totally honest, but when my ST4 thrower soaked up 4 blocks, it gave me a chance to 1d with my AG5 strip ball dancer. Dumped off to a teammate, we got another chance the next turn (with the other dancer) and got the ball free, albeit in the middle of dark elves. Managed to get a side stepper beside the ball, forcing Maysrill to either try the +3 pickup, or block and risk the ball scattering somewhere worse. Once the pickup failed, my AG5 dancer had to leap, secure the ball with a 4+ (rr'd) and then the pass upfield.

Then a wardancer happened, and the ball and ground got introduced to one another. We had a decent chance to re-secure the ball, but failed a 3+/rr and that was it. Wardancer+1 managed to leap into three or four tackle zones to grab the ball and pass to safety.
First two and last two turns, wood elves had the ball, and managed the 2-1 win.
