For some reason this had the air of a training match, with play unfolding in somewhat predictable fashion as both teams practiced with different strategies. Coach Chainsaw was somewhat relieved to see Ugroth Bolgrot sitting out the opening orc drive.
With loner Yorick Silentfist staying true to his tag, hanging outfield on his own and trying to count the number of digits on his hand, the extra man advantage gave Pig Sty Alley the upper hand and we turned over the play to take the lead. Yorick never did discover just how many fingers he has, and apparently left the ground to return to his job as kitchen help whilst still attempting to count.
With the chainsaw limited to just a cameo appearance, the 2nd period saw our kung fu kick ass and Wulang Staff finish off a nice passing play. We expected a 3rd, or even a 4th, but Brain Muscle were in no mood to be charitable and chose to limit the scoring instead of risking a thrashing by trying to score themselves. They had no answer to our wolves.
Wulang Staff failed a go for it at the end to seal a 3rd, but he became more agile as a consequence of his hard training. Fast, agile, he'll be an asset as long as he plays for Pig Sty Alley - which isn't guarranteed to be too long after our recent losses of Landlady, Dragon's Daughter, and Xiaolongnu.”
