“Wheel of Chaos - Finals (Round 7):

With Sam Axe (our Rat Ogre) sidelined, we knew this would come down to our ability to keep enough players on the field and then play some elfball. The first half went especially well as we took out 2 of the 3 clawpombers early (BH on one, KO on the other). We surfed the tackle rat as well and overall controlled the half. We did lose the ball briefly, but regained control and scored on T8 to take the 1-0 lead into the second half.

To start the second half it was 10 vs 11 and we soon lost another player and another...but our wizard was gold. Nailed the chaos pact elf - and we grabbed the ball - passing deep downfield...and that was game. The pact tried, but it was 2-0...then with only 4 turns left, it was desperation time and the long shot attempts came up short and we iced the game away.
