“Coach Katana's long awaited return against old rival Toombs ended badly!

The Pistols misfired throughout the game. In the first half they couldn't make the slightest impression on the Flings armour, but were carried off in droves themsleves. All three of the Flings fouls removed a player and none resulted in a sending off. To cap it all, a rock thrown from the crowd maimed the Ogre mid-way through the first half. Outnumbered and outgunned, the pistols couldn't stop the Flings running in a mid-half TD.

The Pistols broke quickly on the kickoff, and things looked positive - then as a final insult, Andy 'The Answers' Anderson needed to make a 3+ dodge with reroll for a score and threw snakes. Argh!

Second half was better for the Pistols and they were able to get the equaliser with some good blitzer work. But the Flings got a great last turn score when one of the trees - standing in two tackle zones - threw a fling over the defence.
