“I have to say, with all the cheesy min/max team builds out there, it was great to play this game with my "fluff based" Pact team against a Dwarf team that a) included a Death Roller and some less than optimal skill choices (AV10 Longbeard, Passing Runners etc) in a game that was very much "old school".

The game finished 1-1... the Dwarves could have won it saved for a failed GFI which enabled me to try a 6+ Long Bomb to win it back but in the end, a draw was a fitting result.

Coach Lomack was also fun to play and it was great banter.

A game to remind me of what the true spirit of Blood Bowl is.”
