The master chef steals 2 RRs, leaving the elves with only 2 for the half. This is compensated for by the fans getting the ref, leaving both teams with an extra bribe. The kick lands where the chaos can easily secure it, and they do so before they BH a player and KO 2, including the chainsaw hitting a blodge/SS catcher. The elves respond by SI the chainsaw. The Chaos throw 6 dice at a blodge/ss blitzer, in order to foul him out of the game, but no success. The elves retreat to form a line, and the chaos use the star player grashnak to badly hurt the sidestepper they couldn't get the previous turn. The Chaos concentrate on hurting the elves instead of pushing the ball forward, fouling the remaining blitzer, but even with 4 assists, the puny foul can't break armor, and the player gets ejected even though the ref has fistfuls of money in his hand. With time running low, the Chaos work to move the ball past the remaining 5 elves. The elves manage to SI another Chaos, while the Chaos BH an elf catcher. The elf passer tries to dodge out of danger, but trips and BHs himself in the process.
With no way to advance the ball for free, the elves are unable to get the tie score in the turn before the half. The halfling chef takes 2 of their rerolls, leaving them with only 1 for the second half.
The chaos decide to increase the offense, blitzing the elves, but they're unable to do much. The elves start off the half by badly hurting a chaos warrior, but they have to use their only reroll on the first turn. They then throw the ball to a catcher who is exposed, even though he has blodge and sidestep. The chaos manage to get a pow for a stun, and the ball falls right into the hands of a waiting beast. After just 3 blocks the elves get a double-both down, and with no rerolls, that's the end of the turn for them. The chaos are down 9 players to 10 at this point, and they try to secure the ball, but the elves are very abundant. They can't get to the ball, but they can get a tacklezone on him with those pesky catchers. The chaos manage to clear out some space, and dodge down the sideline, but an elf catcher manages to dodge into 2 tacklezones, then 1, and get a both down to loose the ball, as well as fouling a player for a KO to get a better numerical advantage. The star player shows that he's not used to the team when he fails the second part of a frenzy with a double both-down, and decides that rerolls are overrated. The elves manage to secure the ball and take it downfield, all while fouling out chaos players, but with the tackler coming down, decide to take the score, leaving the chaos 2 turns to win the game.
A high kick puts the ball in the hands of a chaos warrior, while grashnak knocks a player down and then all the chaos rush forward to get in range of a score. After the elves position themselves, they decide their best chance is a single player with 2 guys on him. A lightning bolt is used on the blodging sidestep catcher... but it fails! It's not looking very good at this point. The other player is blitzed off of the potential receiver, and a few more players, including the blitzer who marked grashnak, are knocked down to make room for the handoff. The warrior with the ball runs up, and the beastman catches the ball in a tacklezone! He's then able to dodge out and GFI to make it to the endzone for the 2-1 win.”
