“GLT VIII: Forlorn Races Qualifiers 1 -

Lords of Dogtown won the coin toss and chose to receive. They attacked Fight Gone Bad from the start. Tarrant tried to counter against a Kroxigor but failed miserably, seriously injuring himself instead. The apothecary was sent out to attend to the Runner and it was a huge blow for the Norsemen. Lance was killed a few turns later but despite all of that, FGB played with a lot of heart. Thanks to the heroics of Lord Drade, they were able to stop LoD from scoring in the first half.

FGB received in the second half and they were down by one player. Things looked good when Grant the Great badly hurt the Kroxigor at the start. Unfortunately, the Norse armor would finally break and their players soon followed. Drade was killed in what would be the turning point of the game. Grant was not able to make the Skinks pay in the backfield causing them to multiply and soon overwhelm the ballcarrier. The Great One had a chance to somewhat redeem himself and force overtime but he was not able to make a relatively easy dodge. FGB would take an early exit from this year's GLT in a bloody match.
