“Things were certainly going bump in the night, and quite a lot of those bumps were knocked out thralls falling to the floor!

The first half saw the dark princes decide to receive in the hope of getting a TD on the new vampire lord. However, the masters and servants were not quite on the same page as thralls started leaving the pitch at an alarming rate. A reroll was used early on turn 3 to avoid another thrall being bitten, but that left the failed dodge by the rookie soul-less on wide open to calamitous failure. Sure enough, some waved some garlic in his face and the ball was loose! Recover was always going to be a long shot, but with the action to the side of the pitch, several ball necro ball carriers were sacked in the hope that the ball would go into the crowd and be thrown far away from the Necrotic Horrors. Alas, it was not to be and they rolled over in turn 8 to go in 1-0 and receiving in the second half.

With one of the dark lords unable to recover from being KO'ed, things were looking bleak for our black-hearted, yet eerily handsome anti-heroes. However, a blitz by The DMSO saw the necros' Deputy Dawg (ST 4 Block wolf) BH, and suddenly it was game on! Turn 4 saw the the vampires gaze the ball carrying ghoul's protection and take him down, though with the vamps the wrong side of the majority of the necro team, there was still a lot to be done after a not so kind bounce. Yet, Turn 5 saw some heroics as the ball was scatter out of zones then picked up and thrown by Oh Master PLEASE to Troubled Past, Dark Future, who survived a wolf one die blitz and his own dark desires to run in the equalizer on Turn 6.With the scores tied at 1-1, the Horrors needed to move the ball forward quickly, but the pass was blown and EMO Win! secured an unlikely draw.
