“GLT Old Teams Qualifier match, round 2.

1st half

Elves received and went for the long drive. Armor held up good enough so elves had enough bodies to stall for 8 turns. Clumsy (st4/blodge/guard lino) got a BH and apo was used on that.

2nd half

11 guys for elves still so was looking good. Dwarves caged the ball in the 1st turn and elves went for the BC blitz with Last, the st4/ag5 catcher, leaping in... Snaked the gfi to hit the ball. Luckily no foul on him. Last got a few more hits at various ballcarriers but fasthanded dwarves got the scatters before the ball ever hit the ground. Elves started to lose guys on ko's and one lino killed but still got some pressure on the ball for most of the turns. On turn 6 lost the last rr and soon after Last was BH'd by breaktackling deathroller. Dwarves had ball a few steps away from the goalline with their blodge runner with just Fatty XXIV marking him. 1/9 to fail the last play for dwarves... Deathroller went down and a win for elves.

Tight game where things almost went very well for us. Had a good first drive and on defense knocked the ball out a few times but never got it to ground for the steal. On the other hand we did have some good armor tonight. Always had the numbers to still be in the game.
