This huge TV delf mirror was a fun match. 4 legends and 5 superstars took to the pitch. These nasty hurter elves brought 6 mighty blow tacklers, with 3 +ST and 2 piling on between them. This ensured that both delf teams needed some, but not all of their bench.
DE brought AG6 and ST 5 blitzers, lots of leap and no AV7, while TotSQ had some more positionals and MA with a runner, a witch an assassin and a +MA blitzer.
Crucially, TotSQ were given a wizard despite their 2310 k TV.
TotSQ received. With DE's ST5 tackle leaper, TotSQ foolishly relied on their AG5 dump-off. Failing both 2+ 2+ dump-off attempts in the first half, and failing two 2+ pickups on turn 7 and 8 led to a halftime score of 0-0. At this point TotSQ had a RIP apo niggled sacker, while DE had their ST5 hurter legend BH apo'd and their superstar blitzer killed.
halftime saw TotSQs KOd hurter witch recover, as well as DE's two KO'd hurters and a linemeat, leaving only DEs sacker KO'd.
Second half started good for DE, MNGing the TotSQ assassin. DE tried to lure TotSQ into fireballing a cage, but the Sage hung onto his wizard for a turn 4 lightning bolt. With the bolt stunning the ST5 and the subsequent blitz badly hurting the AG6, TotSQ got a firm grip on the drive.
Even a third failed 2+2+ dump-off wasn't enough to win DE the ball back, and after a safe stall the game was decided on a 1-0 win for TotSQ.”
