The orcs received in the first half and set about laying the smackdown on the elves. Woody manages to pop the ball on a lucky -2d block, however, after a couple of turns fumbling around the greenskins recover the ball and carry on the slow grind to the end zone. The elves bh a couple of orcs (one apo'd) and then again pop the ball in a -2d block, this time ball stripper "Mad Dog" is the successful blocker. From the resulting scatter, some ag5 magic by Quick Gun Murugan sees him pick up the ball and finds Woody, who hands off to Wyatt Earp in scoring position, and he runs in the TD for a 1-0 lead for the Bandits at the break.
The second half begins with a the Backyarders determined to make up for the injustice of the first half and perfect defence allows them to load up the line of scrimmage with st4 and guard. A fumble by the The Lone Ranger, followed by a wizard the next turn, opens a window for the orcs, who swarm forward and Grujann manages to pick up the ball. The ball is freed and yet again the elves snake the pick up, this time Woody is the guilty party. A kindly scatter puts the ball into Pecan's hands but yet again the elves manage to dislodge it, now it is the Toenchi's turn to fail the pick up with the end zone begging. Again ag5 gets the elves out of a hole, Woody picks up the ball in two tackle zones, leaps over Pecan's head and sends a long pass sailing towards Zorro who catches the ball and heads for the end zone and with it victory for the Snake Eyed Bandits.
In conclusion the orcs inability to seriously hurt the elves (two of the four casualties occurred at effectively 2-0) meant the Bandits always had men on the pitch to defend successfully. The Snake Eyes lived up to their name in the second half as their ball handling was generally poor, but on the one turn it was truly required pulled out the move that won the match.
Thanks for the match Cevap.”
