“In my opening turn, I failed 3 of 3 bloodlust rolls and rolled 1s on both attempted gazes. It set the tone for the match.
In fact, we lost this on a 1/48 chance. Having gazed through the offensive line, I sent the blitzed thrower onto the now-loose ball (fumbled dump off) as it was in the tackle zone of a dark elf blitzer. If I got this ball, I had cover and strength, and it was - barring quad skulls - 1-0 and likely setting up victory. The ball scattered to the blitzer who caught it on a 6+, and I never recovered. A failed chansaw (another 1!) robbed me of a chance to reply. The vampires continued to fail bloodlust all game, constantly knocking out the thralls, and when I stole the ball for the equalizer and potential overtime, a go for it failed, and they scored a 3rd.
Frustrating game!”
