The first half was one way traffic after a quad skull on the first block of T2 severely handicapped my position - 2 consecutive turns of blocking left me in tatters.
The only reason Jesterius didn't score is because he got greedy. First he got away with a flunked pass made with no rerolls available, the crowd throwing it safe. Then at the end, he rerolled a push/skull blitz to double skulls without covering the ball. He paid a high cost as the subsequent blitz killed his super star ball carrier.
Despite starting the 2nd half with a 3 man advantage, it took very little time for the dice rape to resume, and I scored as the numbers evened up and stalling wasn't really on the cards.
I had no chance to stop the equalizer as every block broke armour and left me with not meaningful options. Still, with 2 players to use, managed a 1D blitz on the ball as Jesterius focused on gang fouling but Nuffle let him off.
Fortunately I rolled a 2 for winnings and can exactly afford to replace the blitzer.”
