“What may turn out to be the highest scoring affair in both NWL Season 24 and the history of the Greatest Show on Turf, also provided one of the costliest games for GST.

The scoring drives were too numerous and came from such a multiplicity of formations, there is too much to recount here. There are, however, three important items of note.

1) Jones' serious concussion from match #1 came back to cost him dearly. A well placed boot by snotling Wist Biskit caused such severe brain hemorrhaging that Jones died on the pitch. (Justice was served when Lyght later killed Wist Biskit!)

2) Faulk was on his way to a spectacular match. In just the first half, he scored one TD and caused one casualty to a snotling. Faulk began the second half by high-stepping down the sideline with the ball during T1, when Borsh Gurplumps broke through the tackle zones and delivered a hit that instantly broke Faulk's neck. Even the presence of a apothecary would have been of no assistance.

3) Bruce had a match to remember. With one TD and a completion before Faulk was killed, he picked up the team's spirits and scored 3 more TDs in the final 7 turns, for a total of 4TDs and 13spp during the match!
