“Cheers Clay it was a really tight game and I had a lot of fun. I think both team would of felt there was a chance to score at the end of each half. But both defences held strong during the drive. Certainly felt you were so unlucky at the end of the first not to be up. Did everything right apart from the catches.
Although the dwarves didnt manage any casualities today you certainlity caused enough KOs that i was outnumbered in both halves and made the game more interesting and tense.

First half, Dwarven grind is on and with Flint Churnblade cautiously holding the line (but doing nothing but stuns) the Falcons get within scoring range after 7 turns. Then Duffkop Grey Goose steps through multiple zones covered with tackle and one die hits Hazem bin Khalifa al Nayan and spills the ball...
Not over though, the ball is caught by Khalid bin Nazir al Qasim, the strong longbeard who dodges and throws the ball into the endzone... only for team captain Faoud bin Basir al Maktoum to drop it! A'masha'allah!!
0-0 at the half, Orcs down a blitzer in the KO box.
The Orcs go for a spread offence down both flanks and split the Dwarf defence in two. The game is nip & tuck but the Dwarves slowly win the line of scrimmage but the Orcs winning the downfield deep zone. Again, T8 the Orcs can score with a blitz and a dodge and a pass...
Unfortunately Duffkop blitzes and skulls out... game over... 0-0 the final score in what was perhaps one of my tensest games on fumbbl.

(PS - alot of double skulls in this one... we each threw 2 each in our first turn of the 2nd half. Game ended on a double skull, I think Erickan threw 5 double skulls to my 4)”
