With good inducements and a bribe in the bank, the Fur Kings set about knocking down their opponents and the zombies set about fouling the vulnerable orcs. It was a successful tactic as first a key blitzer was hurt, then the troll killed, then another key blitzer knocked out. However, with the help of the apothecary and regeneration, the orcs lined up full strength to receive in the 2nd half, and were out for revenge for the booting they got in the 1st.

Instead the Fur Kings stood their ground, killing a black orc, hurting one, and 2 fouls inflicting 2 further casualties as the number of orcs on the field slowly dwindled. The referee showed little interest in intervening - but to collect the bribe at the end of the 1st half - and, even though the wizard was somewhat poorly deployed, a failed dodge sealed Vaclav's fate and secured the trophy for Red Blood.
