“A great game this one that with some careful thinking and some key hits was a narrow win. Often we rely on the gutter runners for important plays but here some of the other specialists made their mark too.
After scoring in his 21st game Throtz lived up to his thrower tag with his 2nd and 3rd ever passes while Throatripper had his second reasonably effective game, though his lonesome ways (and lack of block) caused some frustration.

3 rats dumped into the ko box and one stunned straight after the starting whistle looked a harsh start. Throatripper responded by ko'ing a Dwarf as we spread across the field. Skratz's blitz failed on the dodge as the Dwarfs moved up. We couldn't stop their advance as we were spread out and Throatripper was still in the wrong half. Throtz pushed a blocker into the crowd and we looked to threaten again so the runner scored turn 6. A serious injury to Zloos (lessened by the apo) soon after the Dwarfs kicked off harmed our drive and then Skeetz fumbled a catch back to Skratz. He was taken down and the Rat Ogre was temporarily ko'd by a slayer. But throtz rescued the situation with a long pass to Skeetz to equalize.
Casualties by Ritz Ditz and Throatripper suddenly made things look our way though Skratz was ko'd in the Dwarf half. Throtz had the ball and as he advanced had to shrug off a Dwarf blitzer before passing the ball overthe unmarked Hugruck for a crucial 2nd td.
At 10 v 9 we had a good defence chance even without all 3 wrestlers. A Dwarf was sent off after a couple of puny fouls. Crowding of the Dwarfs to one side was crucial but finally the runner got away only to fall in the endzone! Skeetz recovered the ball and as the match finished the Raiders were triumphant.”
