“Another fun match vs Dragons.
He won the toss and elected to receive.
The start was a bit crazy as he Ko'd two guys but failed the pick up so Ox-Roar was able to put a TZ on the ball. Sadly I didn't mark the Troll so he blitzed him into the thrower who niggled him - regen worked but it was a huge loss for the drive.
Amazingly with only 8 players on the pitch I believe I would have had a shot at stopping the TD but I made the same stupid play 2 turns in a row of starting the turn with a two dice block which obviously double downed(1st one was quad both down, 2nd I saved RR for possible equaliser).
Some heroic GFIs with NW meant that Greedy got the TD on T7 giving us a slim chance of an equaliser. However that was short lived due to a Blitz! result.
2nd half we had the man advantage but it was too easy for us and I got careless, allowing a 1d blitz on Ox-Roar. Of course it was a pow and a stun, doh! Taurox had two tries to pick up the ball, one with a RR but I had got greedy on T5 and wasted my second so we took our second loss.
Lost because of bad basics on both sides of the ball, need to focus more!
