“Ok, I've had a few week's break from FUMBBL, let's see if I've gotten any rusty during the time.

They win the coin and decide to receive first. Our Defense is Perfect, and we get to rearrange our players, which always helps a lot. They get the ball on a dancer on their first turn while we seriously injure a journeyman and KO a lino on ours. We KO another lino on our T2 with a crowdpush. They go all elf with the ball and run around, keeping the ball to themselves. They don't manage much though and I can keep them from scoring the entire half. 0-0 when entering 2nd half.

2nd half starts with 11 norse vs 6 woodies on field. We bash away and make our way through their half, though they do strip the ball away once. Nothing much happens on 2nd half except norse blocking and fouling to keep the woodies' numbers down. We stall till turn 8 and make it 1-0 for norse. The woodies get to seriously injure a norse lineman on a last turn foul, which was a nice payback :). Game for norse 1-0.

When playing norse vs woodies the key thing is to get their numbers down. This time I managed to have enough luck on injuries and getting 11 vs 6 on 2nd half was just the thing needed to beat em elfses. Thanks, a fine match! ”
