We win the coin and kick first. Our kick lands deep and the weather becomes a blizzard. They leave their ballretreiver alone and we rush three gutter runners at him to put some pressure on the ball. They make it out though with a pass and I'm at a disadvantage. I fail a leap on a double 1 on turn 3 and they get to cage near the endzone easily. I get some players there too and they're forced to score early on turn 4. We try to break a hole in their defense on the start of the next drive but fail, so we foul a beastman into SI (apo saves him though :( ). We easily dance through their lines on our turn 6 though, and get a runner safe near their endzone. I stall till turn 8 and score 1-1.
It's 9 vs 9 on field for 2nd half as I badly hurt one and they get caught on a foul before 2nd half. Seems good enough. We badly hurt a CW straight off and they're down to 8! We get the ball on a gutter and try to go for a quick score as we still have the wizard. I make a big blunder on my turn 2 by failing to see a guard and I roll double skulls on a 1db. This costs us the wizard, but we get the ball back up and heading for the endzone. I manage to stall a bit, but have to score on my turn 5. I get a Blitz! on the next kickoff and start to feel more confident. We tie down some players and put pressure on the ball. Their ballretreiver does a nice job dodging but luckily for me fumbles a pass and I get to score 3-1 on my turn 6. I get a deep kick again and they leave a lone beast to deal with the ball. I send three gutter runners on him and they fail a GFI trying to break the gutter screen. I strip ball on my turn 8 and score 4-1.
This was a typical chaos team completely out of chips to play against an agility team. They didn't have a single tackle and as the gutter runners stayed on field, it didn't matter I had only 4 players on the field in the end. And again I tell you this: with 300k in the bank you should get 11 players of your own. Thanks for the game anyhow. ”
