“Afetr a Disapointing Tournerment against orcs and the previous holders of this title, Rohnaji had drilled the footsteps of Chaos nonstop over the weeks before this HotF clash. And on the pitch, their training showed.
Spured on by the passonate pre-game speech of Rohnaji, the Maruaders launched a savege defense on the suprised High Elves. The worried High Elves fumled the ball several times, and this gave Rohnaji the chance to secure it.
Unfortunatly, the Big two had forgotten their orders and stood drooling all over the pitch, but the Marauders heaved together and pushed back as hard as the could against the Dark Ekves. Both sides suffered casualtues in the ensuring fights, But on the whislte of Half time Rohnaji broke through the Elves line and rushed in a 1-0 lead.
The second half began and although they were missing the goblin mascot, the Footsteps banded together and began a crushing march towards the endzone. The High Elves fought with the power of desperation, but their worry made them more clumsy, and the increasing number of failed dodges and turnovers gave the Footsteps fairly easy access to their End Zone.
On a sour note for the Heads of the Family, as the full-time Whistle loomed, Skaven Araga Sewerrunner attemped to grab the ball of Rohnaji for a second score. Rohnaji would not give up his prize however, and stood next to the endzone staring at his defeated enemies.”
“David's Men entered this game full of hope, and perhaps that is what led to their downfall. The mighty Rohnaji Ballrunner seemed unstoppable, and it was only his animosity that prevented a hand-off and a 2-0 winning score for the Footsteps. Perhaps it was the importance of the occasion, but certainly the Mighty Men made many errors in the first quarter of the game and failed to score on the first receive. While they blocked and fought well, it was their superior ability in ball management that let them down. In the end it was the one Chaos elf who showed the 11 Mighty ones how to handle the pressure and the ball. ”
