“A pleasant surprise to be in the semifinals, thanks to an overwhelming 5-2 victory in the final round of the league. But my hopes weren't high when I realised I would be playing a Skaven team which had scored 23 goals so far, and without me having any tackle or strip ball skills... To top it up, the rats are coached by a legendary coach... well...

It started out good, with a fairly easy TD from catcher Geriath, my most experienced player, but it cost me another -ST injury, this time on my Pass Blocker... The rats equalised quickly, but we managed to hold them to one goal in the first half even though we lost the ball, thanks to a scramble by Dorian and a double 1 on the GR dodge :)

In the second half, we capitalised on a throwing error and scored with rookie Garaniya after having killed the linerat Brie... In the lineup, we faced 11 rats with only 10 elves, but somehow managed to stop the rats from scoring. In the end it came down to a block in T8 where the rats needed a pushback, but rolled a skull, and then another skull on the re-roll. We surfed the ballcarrier (the crowd resolutely maimed him and the apothecary ended his suffering) and Vonda managed to dodge away from his man, pick up the loose ball from where the audience had thrown it in... and fumbled the 3-1 pass...

Anyway, we unexpectedly advanced to the final, but failed to improve our teams skills... We also have one less player, as Hathor was SI'd and the monetary rewards were rather moderate... And we have lost against Smooth Inc before... Well.. we never thought we would get to the final, so I guess we are happy so far.
