Blitz! The orcs storm out the blocks! Not damage yet, but they're sniffing at the ball.
Scorcha is in range of the danger wight Baron Seth. He charges, hits and hurts it, and it doesn't regenerate.
The agile ghoul gets away, flanked by the other ghoul with the ball, but not far enough. Orb and the diving tackler Quattro mob the two ghouls.
Thor smashes a zombie out the game, then the ball carrying ghoul makes a desparate hit and is dropped by Quattro and hurt too. Quattro brings down the star ghoul and Deuces boots that out the game as well. 4 players out, 0 of 2 regenerated. The 3 best players out, and turn 3 had just concluded.
From there on in it was a procession of blocking and fouling and failed regeneration - just 1 of 6 in total. The main amusement came in the 2nd period when a bored orc player greased the ball as a joke, and Scrimmage failed to repeatedly make the pick up and pass to the goblin - and when he finally did, the goblin dropped the ball. Finally, after 5 turns of trying, they managed to score between them in the final turn of the match for one of the easiest victories in recent memory.”
