At 07:00 we set out ambush knowing that the vain yet slightly pudgy Dark Elves would be by shortly. Their first attack was lightning-quick and by 07:02, they had scored. Our counter attack stalled and sputtered with poor fouls and horrid dodges all the while the DE were taking players out. We push hard and with a bit of luck and a precision airstrike, Private Keyser Söze ran the ball in for a score.

By 08:00 things looked grim with yep another perfect goal line kick. Historians will cover the events that followed much better than I could so I will not even try. Needless to say, "Charlie" used their big guns to full effect. Sargent Pepper took a grenade to the head and Rambo lost an arm (it was found and put back on though).

32 SPP later, the battle ended with 1st Recon licking their wounds and the tubby elves celebrating their victory.
